With a population of just 219, Hoe is by far the smallest of the parishes in the team numerically, although geographically it covers as great an area as most. St Andrews Church is originally Saxon although rebuilt over the centuries. It is quite small, very simple, beautifully situated and entirely appropriate for our particular community.
The regular pattern of worship is Morning Prayer on the second Sunday and Holy Communion on the last Sunday. With such a small population congregation numbers for regular services are not large, but very steady and loyal. St Andrews uses the Book of Common Prayer for most of its Services.
Being so dispersed and having no shop, pub, or any recognisable centre, the Church is the sole visible focus of Parish existence which is very evident and works to our advantage at Christmas, Easter and Harvest Festival when we provide a social dimension and enjoy very good attendance.
For service times and upcoming events, please see the homepage.
We are located in the centre of Hoe. Parking is available on the street in front of the Church.
