22nd February Scarning 'Jackets and Crumble Evening

22nd February: 'Jackets and Crumble' Fund-raising Evening

This was a lovely, sociable evening, with delicious food. The jacket potatoes had a variety of fillings, accompanied by various salads. These were followed by a selection of fruit crumbles. It was hard to choose, as everything was excellently prepared and full of flavour.

To pass the time, there were two very good quizzes, and our knowledge of the Norfolk 'language' was greatly enhanced by then multiple choice questions. The second quiz, giving visuals of parts of food labels to identify, was proof that we don't always register what we're looking at!

This was a most enjoyable evening with excellent company and good conversation, accompanied with the aforementioned delicious food.

The latest fundraisers are to pay for repairs to two of the church windows.
