Small is beautiful! An Easter Garden, made in a food container at Good Friday Messy Church.

1)The cross is covered in flowers, placed by members of the congregation, during the 10am Service on Easter Day. 2)The Rainbow brownies made Easter chicks from eggs, which were hung from the twigs, and wishing everybody Happy Easter.. 3)The modern arrangement of lilies and yellow roses filled the window ledge. Truly beautiful!

4)Golgotha's crosses are overcome by 'new life', with bright colourful flowers. 5) Next follows a burst of vibrant orange above pure white flowers, bursting with life! 6)Lilies, donated by members of the congregation, in memory of loved ones, now at rest in God's Heavenly Kingdom.

7) The childrens' corner included cuddly toys with simple sprays of spring flowers.8) & 9) Both of these arrangements, with their Spring flowers, bring sunshine to the church, even on the dullest of days.

10)Trefoil Guild brought Easter rabbits galore standing amongst pretty spring flowers.11) Easter chicks hide in the flowers, with decorated eggs hanging from 'pussy willow'. 12) The Paschal candle stands proud in front of the altar..

Easter 2018: Once again, the flower arrangers of St. Nicholas did a wonderful job of transforming our already beautiful church into a very special place to celebrate Easter.
