2nd December Switching on of Town Lights

2nd December 2018 Dereham Lights Switch-on

There were many stalls throughout the town, including a St. Nicholas Messy Church stall in the precinct, alongside other churches in the town. It was here that Evelyn and Hilary helped children to make and decorate jingling bells, with the opportunity to promote Messy Church and talk to families who are not yet familiar with our group sessions. Meanwhile, there was a craft fair in St. Nicholas Church, where Kate Baldry ran her Traidcraft stall and Diana and Gwen ran another Messy Church stall, with children making Christmas cards and mini Christmas trees, and decorating Plaster of Paris tree decorations, which had been donated to the stall by another stall holder, who had wanted to support our Messy Church!.

Next Messy Church session will be on 19th February, 10-11.30, during the half-term holiday.
